Lamborghini 63rd Anniversary — Imola 2026

Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, Imola, Italy — 2026

63 years ago, Ferruccio Lamborghini looked at the world’s sports cars and felt they were missing something. Emotion. Drama. Presence. So he built cars that it was impossible to ignore. The industry has been reacting ever since.

The Number

At Autodromo di Imola for Lamborghini’s 63rd anniversary, thousands gathered around a number that had become much larger than a year. 63. From the 350 GTV — the car that Ferruccio showed to Enzo Ferrari and changed the story of both marques — to the SC63, the hypercar that arrived at Le Mans carrying the weight of six decades of impossible ambition.

Lamborghini has never followed the automotive industry. It has forced the automotive industry to react to it. That is why the mythology survived 63 years without diminishing. That is why thousands gather at Imola to mark a number.

The Machines

The full lineage was present — from the brutalist geometry of the early V12s through the Countach and Diablo years when Lamborghini was simply the most extreme thing on four wheels, to the Huracán and Urus era that proved the marque could grow without compromising what it was, and now the Revuelto, the first hybridised V12, which sounds like the past and performs like the future simultaneously.

The SC63 stood apart. A prototype racer carrying a brand that was never supposed to race at that level. Ferruccio built road cars to humiliate race cars on the road. His successors built a race car to prove the machines could compete anywhere.

The mythology survived. Imola confirmed it.
